The SPM+ app's purpose is to provide Signal Performance Mesuares but enhanced by the fusion of more advanced sensory technologies which give us a much more detailed view of how the intersection is performing both in performance and safety.

  • Download reports
  • Granular data selection range
  • Balance for safety and performance
  • Aggregated data from all sensor inputs
  • Use for studies, funding justifications, and more
  • Take advantage of the latest sensor technologies
  • Enhanced data points

What kind of data?

There are two (2) perspectives of data you can look at:

PhaseProvides statistical information specific to each phase
MovementProvides statistical information specific to each movement at the intersection

Phase Data

Statistical information for each phase

Phase TerminationsCounts for each phase termination
True Split Failure CountsCounts for real split failures taking advantage of newer technology that can track each individual vehicles behavior instead of using probability math to guess
Rest / Delay TimesRest and delay times for peds and vehicles as well as each split interval
Approach and Departure dataWe provide data not only on how travelers are entering the intersection, but also on how travelers are leaving the intersection
Interval Times and CountsSee how long phases are active down to each indication as well as counts during each
Split Counts and TimesProvides counts for how many times the split came up and how long
Queue LengthProvides the information on how large the queue became before each phase was serviced
Travel TimesHow long did it take vehicles to travel through the intersection from each phase?
Crosswalk ViolationsKeeps track of crosswalk violations like pedestrians stepping into the crosswalk when they had a dont-walk indication
Crosswalk TimesHow long does it take each pedestrain to cross? How long was the crosswalk occupied for each service?

Movement Data

Statistical information for each movement. Movements are tracked per vehicle and based on their origin (ingress) and destination (egress) regardless of lane designation.

Some data may be limited depending on if the sensor sources for object detection provide fused, or non-fused, object data
CountsHow many objects executed the specific movement. An enhanced version of turning movement counts because we track the vehicles from origin to destination through the intersection
Travel TimeHow long it took for vehicles to execute the movement
DelayHow long vehicles had to wait before executing the movement
Interval CountsMovement execution counts based on the phase indication
